Why convert WebP to JPG?
WebP and AVIF are modern formats that websites use to load faster. When you save an image from the web, you often get a .webp file that some programs, printers and upload forms do not accept. JPG and PNG work almost everywhere.
How it works
1. Choose or drop your images. 2. Pick JPG, PNG or WebP and the quality. 3. Download. Your browser opens the image with its own built-in decoder and saves a new file. No extra software is downloaded for this tool.
JPG or PNG?
Choose JPG for photos: small files, good quality. Choose PNG for screenshots, logos and images with transparency. If an image has a transparent background and you save it as JPG, the transparent parts become white, because JPG has no transparency.
Browser support
All current browsers can open WebP. AVIF opens in current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. Safari cannot save WebP files, so if you choose WebP in Safari you get a PNG instead.

No. Everything happens in your browser.
Does it keep animation?
No. For animated WebP or GIF, only the first frame is converted.
